Promotion Weekend
Promotion Weekend will be May 30th & 31st, when all GC Kids, Jr. High, High School, and College students move up to their next grade level. Students going from 5th to 6th grade will move into Breakaway (Middle School), and 8th graders going into 9th grade will move into Anchored (High School). Graduating seniors are encouraged to connect with the College Ministry. If you need help finding a classroom, please visit the GC Kids Resource Center or contact Ethan Berthiaume.
Summer in the Son
On June 3rd get ready for some more family friendly fellowship as we kick off Summer in the Son! Our kids and youth ministries will be in full swing and adults can choose from a wide variety of electives. Some classes have limited space so be sure to pre-register online or by clicking below. We'll also enjoy some church-wide fellowship and treats out on Grace Walk so don't miss out!
Summer with GC Kids
Camp Praise and Play runs June 3rd–August 19th on Wednesday nights for children from birth through 5th grade and offers a Christ-centered summer experience filled with learning, creativity, play, and discipleship. Vacation Bible School (VBS) takes place July 13th–17th for 1st–5th graders and features a fun-filled week of worship, Bible lessons, music, games, and activities designed to help kids grow in their faith and friendships. Summer Melodies, happening July 27th–August 1st for ages 8–18, provides a week of music, vocal training, and performance fun, ending with a special showcase for family and friends.
Handbells 101
On Thursday evenings at 5:30pm starting June 4th, we are offering a 12-week Handbells 101 class, open to anyone ages 12 and up. In this class you will learn the basics of music reading, rhythm, and handbell technique. This would be a great first step if you have an interest in ringing bells at our Night of Joy concert. Senior Chapel
Senior Chapel will meet on Friday, June 5th, at 10am in the Chapel. Come enjoy food, singing hymns, and time in God's Word!
Kickback
Kickback is the annual summer camp for Jr. High and High School students at Grace Chapel that will be from June 15th-19th. There are 2 primary goals of Kickback: 1) Spiritual Growth 2) Friendship Building.

Care Net Baby Bottles
Thank you for supporting Care Net Women’s Center by taking home a baby bottle and filling it with extra change or bills. This was a meaningful way to support Care Net in their ministry to local moms and families.
Please bring your Care Net Baby Bottles back this Father’s Day weekend by dropping them off in the lobby or bringing them to the front office the following week.
Young Adults Retreat
Join us for our First Annual Young Adults Retreat, a two day experience centered on Christ, fellowship, worship, and spiritual growth. This retreat is open to young adults ages 18 to 29, whether single or married.
The retreat will take place from June 26th to June 28th at Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas in Palm Springs. Enjoy amazing amenities including pools, water slides, a lazy river, and more.

Summer Melodies
This summer, Grace Chapel is hosting Summer Melodies from July 27th - August 1st, a program for ages 8 to 18 aimed at enhancing vocal and performance skills through hands-on training and fun activities. The week ends with a performance for friends and family on July 31st and August 1st.
Summer Softball
If you’re 13 years old and up, come join us for a great time of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition. Games will be at Sergeant Steve Owen Park at 3:00 and 4:15pm on Sundays, and will run August 2nd-23rd. You can also come watch the games and cheer on the teams, or help out by signing up as an umpire!

Community Cleanup : Mercy Rides
Want to get involved with Mercy Rides? Join us as we serve our community through neighborhood cleanups and outreach to those experiencing homelessness.

ROMEOs
ROMEOs, Retired Old Men Eating Out, will meet on Thursday, May 28th, at 8:30am at Denny's on Ave K & 20th West. Come enjoy a refreshing time as we fellowship with one another, each buy our own breakfast, and hear a brief devotional from one of our pastors.
No Midweek Ministries
Our Midweek Ministries will take a break this Wednesday, and we will begin Summer in the Son on June 3rd at 7pm. There will be something for everyone, so click below to see the full list of electives.
Office Closed
The Grace Chapel office will be closed on Tuesday, May 26th, in observance of Memorial Day. We will re-open on Wednesday, May 27th.
Memorial Day BBQ
You’re invited to our Memorial Day BBQ on May 24th at 4:30pm! Buy tickets or sign up to volunteer by clicking below. Come enjoy worship, burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, jumpers for kids, a cornhole competition, a car show, and our Apple Pie Baking Contest with prizes. Cost is $5 per person or $25 per family, and we’d love your help with food prep, welcome team, setup, or cleanup. Don’t miss this fun night of fellowship!
Foster Friends Shoe Drive
AV Foster Friends is hosting a Used Shoe Drive! We’ll have donation bins available in the lobby before and after services on May 23rd & 24th. We’re collecting all used shoes, any size, any style. You can drop off donations in the lobby or at the church office.
