The new Grace Chapel pictorial directory is now online! It is secure in that you must have a username and password to gain access. If you had your picture taken for the "paper" directory you can access the online version. Send an email or call Pastor Brad Hunt to obtain your temporary username and password. Once you log into the directory the first time you will be able to change your username and password to something you are familiar with. If you didn't have your picture taken you can still be added to the online directory. Your name would be listed along with the personal information you specifically approve for publishing. Your picture would be added when we schedule Lifetouch to come out and take new photos. If you have any questions or comments about the online directory contace Pastor Brad Hunt anytime. In 1913 the Chapel Car Grace came to Lancaster and was parked on a side track of the Southern Pacific Railroad, just north of the old depot, which was on the south side of Lancaster Boulevard. Evangelistic meetings were held in this Chapel Car for several nights. From this meeting the First Baptist Church of Lancaster was later formed. As they had no building, they met in the brick building just east of the Williams Energy Company on west Lancaster Boulevard. Charles E. Seates, our first historian, reports our early history: |

The Grace Chapel office hours are Tuesday through Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM Sunday 8AM to 12:30PM The office is closed on Mondays and Saturdays as well as New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday (observed), Presidents Day, the day following Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day and this year- the day after Christmas. |
